Jasper, thank you for this and also GHHHHHHHHHHHAASGASGAGADSKLFJS:LDGHJSDLGJL:j!!!!!

That's my digital equivalent of screaming into a pillow. I want to quote every single piece in the round up so that people can read all of it and be moved to action.

Do I share the insane and relentless horrors and death from Gaza?

Do I share instead the terror wrought upon Palestinians in the West Bank because then at least no one can say 'but Hamas'?

Do I share stories with overwhelming statistics to show the scope and breadth of the genocide?

Do I share instead individual stories because the stats feel just like numbers and not real humans?

This is all impossible.

Thanks for embarking on such an important project. I look forward to reading more of them, especially the one where you tell how the killing has stopped, aid has gotten in and Gaza is free.

Thank you for this round up. The sheer number of ppl killed daily, including the many children, astounds. The use of suicide drones and the fact that bombing now happens every where, including on tents, indicates a worse phase of the genocide. The size of the bombs used, has seemingly increased too as well as the chemicals used to create fire belts. The burns seen by doctors have not been witnessed in other wars before.

The refusal of the occupier to accept the hostages and end the genocide, shows

1 that hostages are expendable to the occupier 2 that Netanyahu needs constant war to keep his career going.

On top of that, the ICJ granted Israel another 6 months to respond to the genocide claim.

Sadly, no end in sight.

Thanks for this. While there does seem to be a real shift in American opinions on this topic even among the libs, it feels like it will be too little too late and it's important to at least get the history accurately documented.

I just wanted to share the Gaza Soup Kitchen's GoFundMe link also in case anyone is interested. I know there is definitely not a shortage of needy and deserving humans due to the blockade. I do feel like because of the close family connections and local knowledge they are able to continue providing some support and hope. He posts updates regularly also.

Hey, this is really thorough and helpful, thank you! One suggest I have is to include a "how you can help" section at the end of the updates, for those of us who read all this and feel nothing but dread and hopelessness. I would love to see some vetted resources for charities and families I can send money to that need help, or any other ways I can take action. An easy way to share these stories or quotes on social media would also be helpful. Thanks!

As a journalist who spent years working on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, I’m afraid there is something stultifying about the reporting about the ongoing abuses of the nation of Israel in the media, even very good media, like this. There is nothing new in this story. It is a story of abuse and power that goes back decades. I interviewed some of the last survivors of Dir Yassin, the Arab village where Arab civilians were massacred and survivors paraded through the streets of Jerusalem 1n the 1948 war. There has been a steady drumbeat of cruel conquest and human atrocities that has just gone on for decades, as the United States continues to turn a blind eye.

It would be hard to describe another conflict where peaceful people find their lands taken, children arrested, homes demolished and then desperate terrorism in response, busses and night clubs bombed and the Americans sleep walking through it all. I think it was the suicide bombings of the second Intifada that killed off the peace movement and the Israeli left. This is not stopping, it is just getting worse. The United States is not stopping the Israelis, they are sending them more bombs. It is a massive shit sandwich with human suffering off the charts. We are all sleep walking through it.

I love to read your travels and conversations. Thank you for listening, sharing.

The difference between Gaza and the West Bank tells so many stories.

I am surprised by the low numbers of murders. How can that be?
